Francisco “Paco” Garcia
Paco is meticulous about keeping our wines, barrels and the entire fermentation room in pristine condition. He chose to join the cellar crew in 2005, based solely on the passion that Lou and Louis share for making world-class wine. Previously he spent nearly 10 years working on many blue-chip Napa Cabernets produced at custom crush facilities (primarily Napa Wine Company). Born in Oaxaca, Mexico, Paco has lived in the Napa Valley for over 16 years with his wife and three sons. His talents are immense and his naturally acute sensory detection of wine faults allows him to be on our "front line" in detecting challenges during fermentation and barrel aging. When he not tirelessly working at the winery, Paco enjoys playing soccer and enjoying fine wine.
