Furmint is a white grape varietal that is most notably grown in the Tokaj region in Hungary and is the base for the world-famous Tokaji Aszu wines that King Louis XV of France called "Wine of Kings, King of Wines."

We produce this dry white wine in homage of our family's Hungarian heritage. This wine has notes of honeysuckle, grapefruit, guava, pear and lychee.

POINTS

Antonio Galloni – December 2017

The 2016 Furmint has really fleshed out over the last six months. Melon and floral notes, along with a hint of tropical fruit and soft contours, give the wine much of its immediacy and sheer appeal. Drink this pretty, gracious white over the next year or two.

POINTS

Antonio Galloni, Vinous – December 2016

The 2015 Furmint is a pretty, mid-weight white to drink now and over the next few years. Lime, mint and aromatic white flowers give the 2015 Furmint its distinctive personality. The flavors are bright, delineated and vibrant throughout. The 2015 was done entirely in steel, with blocked malolactic fermentation.
