The 2016 Rapszodia is just about as good as it gets. This inky colored effort offers a truly sensational bouquet of blueberries, black currants, spring flowers, and graphite, with some subtle chocolaty oak and spice developing with time in the glass. While this cuvée was first made in 2010, it's only been 100% Cabernet Franc twice, once in 2015 and now in 2016. All about elegance and complexity, this perfectly balanced, layered wine is a tour de force in Cabernet Franc that will stand up with the greatest examples of this variety out there."

“The deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Rapszodia has a stunning perfume of red roses, black cherries, black raspberries and unsmoked cigars with nuances of cinnamon stick, pencil shavings and menthol. The palate is medium-bodied with fantastic mid-palate density and firm, ripe, finely grained tannins, finishing with loads of minerality and zip.”
